Mariska Hargitay makes way for Jennifer Love Hewitt

Jennifer Love Hewitt and Mariska Hargitay

'Law and Order: SVU' actress Mariska Hargitay, 47, could see her role reduced in coming episodes and Jennifer Love Hewitt,32, may be in line to join the cast. Love had a guest role last season in fall 2010 but actress is in talks to play the show's female lead in its upcoming 13th season. It is said that it is one kind of technical replacement of Jennifer Love Hewitt on behalf of Mariska Hargitay on SVU?

Mariska Hargitay

There might be a reason for that and that is her weight. She and some other stars were bullied for their weight recently. Though Christopher Meloni, 50, has yet to strike a deal with NBC, Mariska has little chance.

According to the site, Hargitay's character, Detective Olivia Benson, will continue to solve sex crimes for the first 13 episodes. Then her character will be promoted to a higher position and a new detective, presumably played by Hewitt, would take her place.

On the other hand Mariska told Access Hollywood on Monday in New York City at the NBC Upfronts, responding to the news that she's going to cut down her hours on the hit series in order to spend more time with her children. "I think in the second half of the season, I'm going to go into a different position, which is very exciting,""It'll be quite challenging and different, but I think it's exciting."

Jennifer Love Hewitt

Who will be the in the position of whom that is not the matter but it matters that whether we get to enjoy a show worth enjoying or not.

Rebecca Black, a 13 years old amazing singer.

Rebecca Black

Rebecca Black, a Californian girl of just 13, has become a sensation overnight throughout the world. She has just recorded a ditty called "Friday" and Youtube released it in March 14. Since then it has had amazing 140 million hits and gained enormous recognition. Black's name has at the sametime and same manner occupied the national attention.

Amazing Black

Last week a bombshell of striking rumor emerged that Black is pregnant. But she herself extnguished the false notion twitting "I thought it was May 15th ... not April Fool's Day. I'm absolutely NOT pregnant."

Must read: Rebecca Black in Kety Perry's music video.

The fascination with Black is may be strange. People might have elevated her because of her lack of singing talent (at least what was evidenced through her song "Friday"). Whether or not she can really sing is in question as "Friday" revealed a monotone, nasally, and highly auto tuned voice. In fact, "Friday" has received nearly 3 million "dislike" votes as opposed to only a mere 400,000 "like" votes on YouTube.

Moreover she received lots of death threats via e-mail and phone. Yet she decided to pursue a follow-up to her first hit with courage and is working on a song called "LOL" in an Orange County Studio (Flying Pig Productions in California).

Rebeca Black

Rebecca Black is grateful to receive support from Lady Gaga (who called her a "genius"), Simon Cowell who told Entertainment Weekly that the fact that "Friday" was making " -- people so angry is brilliant," and even Justin Bieber who sang parts of "Friday" for his fans.

If Black can be successful in her following release of new songs she would receive extreame attention again and all the controversies will die away in the stream of popularity.

Rachel McAdams

Rachel McAdams, 32 years old Hollywood actress and Notebook star (in Marchesa) and 42 years old Tron star Michael Sheen made their first public appearance openly as a couple. The 32-year-old actress walked the red carpet at Cannes International Film Festival on May 11, 2011, with her fiancé Michael Sheen. Michael Sheen confirmed the relationship after the festival. "We spent our nights really laughing, and walking around Paris, Notre Dame is my favorite spot, and having great meals. It was a great way to get to know anyone," Sheen told Us Weekly.

Last summer, the two completed shooting in Woody Allen's "Midnight in Paris," a romantic comedy that also features Owen Wilson and Carla Bruni, the first lady of France. The "Midnight in Paris" costars first became engaged in late summer of last year, and appeared at the Toronto film festival in September. There goes a rumor that the two were engaged and that is evident in sparked ring spotted on McAdams' left hand on Sunday. This was denied by Sheen's rep earlier this week. Earlier this week, McAdams rep assured Us Weekly she was "100 percent not engaged."

But Sheen's saying "She's a genuinely lovely lady as well as being stunningly beautiful and very talented," to "Entertainment Tonight Canada" last year means something else.

Nevertheless, in the festival, both walked arm-in-arm up a set of stairs. Sheen was also seen to help his lady love with the 5-foot-long train on her red Marchesa gown. In the group photos with some other Hollywood star they were seen close enough to guess that something is going on between them.

Tiger Woods at No-8 in World Golf Rankings

Woods with wife and son

There was a time when the Monarchy of Golf had been  in the hand of Tiger Woods and the rest of the world was on the other side. But the day has changed. Woods is no longer an icon of superior talent and skill, he is a top-ten talent that has no actual business being even that high on the list. The newest world rankings were released on May 9, 2011, and Woods slipped to eight a spot lower than his No. 7 ranking heading into the Wells Fargo Championship, right behind Englishman Paul Casey who missed the cut over the weekend.. Tiger Woods did not play in the Wells Fargo Championship due to ankle and knee injuries. It is expected that he will make his return on May 12, 2011 at Players Championship in Ponte Vedra Beach and it could be a stepping stone to U.S. Open.
