Kristin Chenoweth releases her first country album "Some Lesson Learned"

Sally Brown in "You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown (1999)" Kristin Chenoweth is going to release her new country album "Some Lesson Learned" on September 13, Tuesday. This will be seen in the Dallas-based TV show, "GCB," which will be aired in mid-season on ABC. This album features songs written by Dolly Parton and Diane Warren. The 43 year old Oklahoma native told Reuters that country music fits her naturally.

"I was probably the freak in Broken Arrow, because I loved opera," pint-sized star  told The Advocate. "My parents played all kinds of music. I was a huge Julie Andrews fan, and I loved all the cast albums. I also listened to Beethoven and Chopin."

In fact, Chenoweth wasn't even going to record a country album until songwriter Diane Warren told her she was. "She heard me do a track of Carrie Underwood's for 'Glee' called "Last Name," and she said, 'You're a country artist.' I said, 'I do feel that, but I'm afraid I won't be accepted.' She said, 'This is part of who you are. Go for it.'

Warren, Chenoweth adds, is "the one who got me into the recording studio in Nashville. I said, 'I'll do two songs and we'll see how it goes.' And it just grew from there." After she wraps promoting "Some Lessons Learned," Chenoweth will turn her focus to "GCB," which has already come under attack -- and it hasn't even aired yet.

The comedy-drama, based on the bestselling book about a divorcee (Leslie Bibb) who returns to Dallas with her kids, had to change its name twice already.  Originally titled, "Good Christian Bitches" (same as the book), it was then switched to "Good Christian Belles." But after some Christian groups felt it was demeaning, ABC is now just sticking with its acronym.

Her previous album is "A Lovely Way to Spend Christmas" which was released in October 14, 2008. The other two are "As I Am" in 2005 and "Let Yourself Go" in 2005.

Lil Wayne's "The Carter IV" Tops the billboard Chart in it's first weak of release.

Lil Wayne again tops the Billboard 200 albums chart for his album "The Carter IV" after 2004 when he released his album "The Carter III" selling about 1 million copies only in US in its first week of release. This is his ninth studio album and first since being released from prison, released on August 29, 2011 The rapper grabbed the No. 1 spot this week for his album Tha Carter IV, selling 964,000 copies, according to Billboard. It's the second-biggest first-week sales for an album this year -- behind Lady Gaga's 1.1 million for Born This Way, but ahead of Jay-Z and Kanye West's 436,000 for Watch the Throne.

MORE: Lil Wayne is recovering slowly after an accident.

Wayne has another chart-topping album in last year's "I Am Not a Human Being." Take into account Gaga's first-week discount pricing, and Wayne's sales figures look even more impressive. According to Billboard, Gaga sold an estimated 440,000 downloads for 99 cents each, during a two-day sale by Amazon's MP3 store. The Carter IV's sales of almost a million copies came without such pricing.

On the download front, Wayne can also claim a milestone. Yes, Tha Carter IV's first-week digital sales of 362,000 trail Gaga's 662,000, the year's most. But sources told Billboard that Wayne's album set a new iTunes single-week sales record by a wide margin, moving around 345,000 copies. According to The Hollywood Reporter, that means Wayne dethroned Watch the Throne -- an album that was only available on iTunes for its four days of release. SoundScan does not share retailer-specific numbers.

The debut capped a solid month for hip-hop album sales. Right behind Tha Carter IV was West Coast rapper Game's The R.E.D. Album, which sold nearly 100,000 copies.

Lil has recently experienced an accident while skateboarding at St.Louis-area skateboard park on Sunday August 21 for a performance at the outdoor Verizon Amphitheatre. So No 1 position is certainly a good achievement after this drawback.

Jessica Simpson is opting for a breast reduction before her wedding with Eric Johnson.

American singer-songwriter, actress, television personality and fashion designer Jessica Simpson is opting for a breast reduction surgery that once helped her bring her name and fame and always subject to tabloid attention.

“She’s never loved having a huge chest,” the U.K. tabloid The Sun quoted a friend saying. The report added that Simpson is hoping to slim down before her November wedding to NFL player Eric Johnson. But a source familiar with the singer’s plans told ABCNews.com that 31 year-old Simpson had no plans of getting a breast reduction and hasn’t even set a wedding date.

In the past, Simpson’s own father, Joe Simpson, a former Baptist minister, got into hot water when he famously bragged about his daughter’s bosom. “Jessica never tries to be sexy. She just is sexy,” he told the New York Post’s PageSix.com in 2004. “If you put her in a T-shirt or you put her in a bustier, she’s sexy in both. She’s got double Ds! You can’t cover those suckers up!”

Recently, Simpson appeared to have made peace with her body.  After she endured a public hazing when she dared to wear a pair of high-waist jeans at a 2009 concert, showing off a more curvaceous figure, Simpson headlined VH1′s  reality series, “The Price of Beauty” in which she traveled the world in search of what people find beautiful and why. “I have always believed that beauty comes from within, and confidence will always make a woman beautiful, but I know how much pressure some women put on themselves to look perfect,” Simpson said in a statement to ABCNews.com before the show aired in 2009. “I am really looking forward to discovering how beauty is perceived in different cultures andparti cipating in some of the crazy things people do to feel beautiful.”

One person who thinks Simpson is beautiful is Johnson. They began dating last May and got engaged in November. In keeping with his former 49er colors, Johnson gave Simpson a Neil Lane ruby ring flanked by two diamonds. OK! magazine estimated the cost of the ring at $185,000, “because it’s a ruby and because of its rareness.” She will hopefully get what she is expecting or what her fiance expects her to be.

Jada Pinkett smith has said good bye to fans as "Hawthorne" not coming for next season.

Scream 2, Ali, The Matrix Reloaded, The Matrix Revolutions actress Jada Pinkett-Smith has said good bye to her fans as the TV show "Hawthorne" is not coming for next season. She is doing the show with costar Mark Anthony.

Jada, 39, wrote, "Hey everyone...if you don't know Hawthorne will not be returning for another season." "I want to say thank you to all the fans for being Hawthorne soldiers...All our facebook fans...twitter soldiers and viewers...you held us down. Of course you know there is more to come...believe it!"

Hawthorne is an hour-long medical drama on the TNT television network starring Jada Pinkett Smith and Michael Vartan. It premiered on June 16, 2009. Hawthorne has been renewed for a third season in 2010 but On September 2, 2011, it was announced that TNT had decided not to renew HawthoRNe for a 4th season.

TNT confirmed to E! News in a statement saying,
"TNT has decided not to order a fourth season of 'Hawthorne'." "TNT truly appreciates the tremendous dedication of everyone involved in 'Hawthorne.' The series gave TNT the opportunity to work with many outstanding people, including Jada Pinkett Smith and the rest of the show's talented cast, crew, producers and writers. We wish everyone involved with 'Hawthorne' nothing but the best."
News of "Hawthorne's" cancellation comes on the heels of speculation (we're looking at you, Life & Style ) that Anthony's separation from Jennifer Lopez had something to do with an affair with Jada, and that that relationship was also stirring up trouble in Pinkett Smith's marriage. Anthony recently shut down that story when he appeared on "Nightline," however, calling the rumors "laughable."

"We were laughing, like 'Wow'," Anthony said in the interview with ABC News' John Quinones. "We've been friends for years. Jada, Jennifer, me, him, for years ..."

After Will and Jada slammed separation rumors, Pinkett Smith's publicist also said there was no truth to the rumor saying, "Everything about the Marc Anthony story is completely false." On the other hand a set source told the new Us Weekly that Pinkett Smith and Anthony, 42, were "a little touchy and like they were in their own little world," although a total and remarkable affair has never developed yet.

Linda Ellerbee tried to explore the fact of 9/11 in "Nick News Report on 9/11"

The reporter and co-anchor of NBC News Overnight, which brought her "duPont Columbia Awards" as "possibly the best written and most intelligent news program ever" Linda Ellerbee tried to explore the fact of 9/11 to the kids and young generations in the "Nick News Report on 9/11," airing Thursday at 9 p.m.
on Nickelodeon.

In this half-hour special the  Journalist, author, news reporter, news anchor was aiming at kids too young to remember the events of Sept. 11, 2001, as well as the teens and young adults who experienced them as children. It begins with a simply stated description of what happened, evolving into what this means to America 10 years later.

Nickelodeon commissioned a study by Harvest Research and The Harrison Group that showed many of today's younger children learned about 9/11 from a parent, typically after hearing a reference to it on television or at school. But "you may get a lot of information that's wrong," says Ms. Ellerbee at the outset of the show. She adds that the graphic images and details of that day were intentionally omitted from the program, yet "the simple fact of what happened is scary."

She suggested the viewers to find a trusted adult to watch the show with, and given the subject matter, it's an excellent suggestion. The report was aired at  9 p.m. Thursday September 1, 2011 on Nickelodeon. It's really a laudable approach on her part to the dealings of the history.

Kelly Bundy on the FOX sitcom "Married... with Children" star Christina Applegate reveals her ultimate bedroom fantasy. The revelation took place in a prom for NBC's new sitcom "Up All Night." This 39 year-old American Actress and producer seductively said, "I'm alone in the bedroom, and you walk in. You tell me don't speak. You'll take care of everything."

Applegate has  in real life a 7-month old daughter, Sadie (born in January 27) by her fiance Martyn LeNoble. Christina Applegate found returning to work after giving birth "so rough". That is why she said it difficult filming the "Up All Night" with Will Arnett as she hated leaving the baby.
She told People:

"It's a really hard thing to do because you miss them. But I'm doing well." "Parenthood just changed me in the sense that nothing really matters but [Sadie]." She added, "None of it really matters. The importance I placed on things prior to this moment, they don't matter anymore. All that matters is I get to go in there in the morning and see her face. She smiles at me and my life is better."
